“I have a problem with the phone. On the day it arrived I went to my local Waitrose and expected to need to register it onto their free WiFi but it connected directly and called me Stacey. This is not my login at Waitrose (or several other places). It seems that you have sold me a refurbished phone as the network there recognises the user identity from the MAC number of the WiFi hardware in the phone. This is a unique number for the phone and shows that it was previously used by someone else. I have exchanged SIM and proved that can't be the identifying cause. EE tell me that my phone number has not been issued before, soo it isn't that either. As a result, I don't get the bonus points for my visits to several hostelries as they think I am Stacey and not myself. Please advise. Andrew@twoplanes.co.uk.”
