Very happy with phone so far (just a week) and prefer it to old S7 Edge, Particularly like the on/off switch on the back with fingerprint scanner. Much more convenient than side switch. As only occasional user (no Facebook, Twitter, etc), battery lasts for several days and wireless charging a bonus. Only negative is finding case to fit as these only seem to be available online.

I upgraded to the V30 from the G6 and I wish I hadn't. Many of app settings default so that the apps don't work without intervention, the screen feels hollow when you tap it, some apps stutter for several seconds before working smoothly and Smart Settings don't work reliably. Hopefully LG will fix most of these issues with the Oreo update but I am somewhat disappointed that my upgrade is a backwards step in the meantime. And on the G6 if you didn't want to use a LG app you could delete it or at least disable it. On the V30 you can't as you can't with Samsung phones. LG have got a habit of always spoiling things that should have been so much better

The phone is very responsive as it has that 8 core processor and I love the size of the screen. But the most impressive aspect of the phone I've noticed so far is the lasting power of the battery. The LG v30 has a smaller battery than my previous phone and a larger screen size but the battery in the V30 depletes slower than my previous phone.

I bought this phone for low light video recording for my band and was not disappointed. The flash provided excellent lumination and the manual controls let me adjust the ISO & shutter speed to ensure my final cut didn't have any distortion or noise. I found the optical image stabilisation was as impressive again as when I first got my LG G4, with the added benefit of shooting in 60fps. For stills, the camera is excellent and the shots look great on the 2k screen, while the 64GB on-board memory has meant I haven't missed a shot. The battery life is excellent and can be extended where necessary with background data controls and black & white colour save options. On a 4 hour trip round town starting on 18%, I returned on 12% which included sending 8 pictures by bluetooth to be printed. I highly recommend this phone.

Had narrowed my choice down to 3 flagship phones courtesy of the many reviews on techrader.Samsung s8 (to fragile and finger print sensor ergonomics) Huawei pro mate 10 (poor deals) or the lg v30,On viewing my favourite and available with some cracking deals courtesy of mobiles.co.uk. First impressions are excellent with a fantastic screen, top camera/video and class leading audio. Ergonomics are top notch with everything in the right place. If you dont want to be ripped off by Apple (again) or fancy a change from samsung I can highly recommend the lg v30. A top spec good looking phone.

I have had my LG V30 for a couple of weeks now. I bought it to replace my LG G3 which has gone to silicone heaven. The biggest difference is the battery life. Much much better. The screen is vibrant and the processor a lot faster. I am very pleased with the telephone and the deal.
