“Another outstanding phone from Samsung that hasn't failed to impress. The usual features that have become pretty much standard on the Galaxy S range are still as brilliant as ever. The build quality is, as you'd expect, unfaultable. The new features are exceptional too. Moving the fingerprint reader to the back is a graat touch, and it works so well! The many ways of customising all the different features are well thought of but not over complicated. Transferring the information from my old phone (the S7 Edge) was so ridiculously simple and a have me some real surprises. I couldn't believe how easy it was! Just connect the two phones together with the accessories provided, a couple of easy to follow instructions, a few clicks and away it goes. A few minutes later and you're done! The new phone is set up with all of your data, phone numbers, calender details, music, pictures etc. Also, all of the user settings that I've grown accustomed to, are now mirrored from the old to the new. All the stuff that I've taken the last 18-24 months to personalise (including my favourite wallpaper and all of those personal ringtones and notification sounds..) are now there straight away, so no sitting around for hours setting up ringtones, re-installing apps and putting them onto my home screens.
I think the upgraded cameras and photo app have not been undersold by the adverts. Starting with being easy and intuitive to use, delivering outstanding quality and through to great touching up suite. All help you produce the most amazing pictures and videos.”
