Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Reviews

4.8 Rating 129 Reviews
I had been looking forward to getting the Note 4 for a while, it did not disappoint. There are so many pros I could bore you to death, but a quick summary of major features. Camera- absolutely brilliant, I run the HDR all the time and all of my pictures, day, night, etc are good. The zoom isn't great, but the 16mp + HDR offers such a great picture that, taking pictures normally, then zooming in, you get a great shot. Multitasking - the phone was built for it. If, like me, you've never had a Note, there is a slight learning curve, after that it just changes how you do things. Get on YouTube and watch the geek videos, they show you everything you can do and following is simple. Screen - just wow. Security - not mentioned anywhere but the Note 4 has a fingerprint scanner. I've never had an issue opening it. You can also further protect sensitive files, photos etc. Ease of use- it's a standard Samsung with toys. Simple as that. I went from HTC to this, no issue. It's android too so easy if you know android UI. Battery - fantastic. I dont use the rapid charge setting often, but can confirm you get a full charge in 90 minutes, 50% in 30 minutes. But a full standard charge isn't far away either. I also get 48 hours + easily. I'm not on it for hours at a time, but I'd say it's fairly average usage. Can't complain at less charges anyway. The battery is also removable, not expensive to replace either. The one con, and it's a niggly minor thing is the size. I've got big hands but struggle with single hand use. But alas, Samsung thought of that and have put in a simple to use single hand mode that shrinks everything down, watch the videos people. Great handset, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Big improvement from my previous Note 2. Everything is fine apart from lack of access to SD card. I bought 64GB card and wasn't able to place there anything - thanks to kit kat 4.4.4 rules. So after a week I was forced to root my device. Now, everything is as it should be.

i love galaxy notes i've had the note 2 & 3 now i have the 4 although the 3 was also brilliant my husband needed a new phone after his broke so he had the 3 and i got the 4. anyway its brilliantly easy to use it has a few extra's compared to the 3, the camera is much better, plus the fast charger is really good, fully charged from 10% - 100% in just over an hour. the screen is also bright, i love the multi-function screen too. the only downside is i can't get sky go on it as the os is not compatible whereas the note 3 was but overall i love it.

The phone is very good. My only disappointments are that: 1. The phone is not a dual simcard phone. To me this feature is very important as I can keep two simcards in my phone without needing to open in every time I need to make calls with a particular simcard, say when travelling overseas or making calls overseas on a different network that has cheaper tariffs for this, such as Lebara Mobile. 2. The omission of the FM Radio is a serious mistake. I travel to places where there is no internet, and I want to get news of what is going on in the world. It is archaic to have to carry a radio to listen to news, when on Note 2 I could do so easily. I think Samsung must not take good and useful features away from new devices, but add to them, just as they add to the prices of the phones.
