“The Abigail vintage gold crib looks cheap in person. The antique gold is actually a printed coating with brown swirls on it that form a clear pattern. It looks like gold wallpaper with brown swirls. The coating is also cut in some places and you can see the white steel underneath. The print on the coating is also not evenly applied so there are small little gritty sharp points here and there. We went over the whole thing with a scrubby sponge to wash off the point paint bits. These bits would cut a child’s tongue when they inevitably put their mouth on the bars.
There are also giant black screw heads and hardware parts that they have photo shopped out of the online pics. Every piece has large visible black screw heads.
Finally, there are large warning label stickers on very visible parts of the crib. They are very hard to get off. Expect to spend an hour or more steaming them off or using olive oil and a scrubbing sponge. I still have not gotten every bit of visible label off. Really ruins the look.
This product is not worth the price. The company is just a drop shipper. See if you can find the product through another site.”
