“Chair is beautiful and comfy, rocks very smoothly. Also came two months earlier than expected which was a great surprise! Was very easy to put together but recommend keeping it in the box until you get it to the room...was very cumbersome and heavy to bring upstairs!”

“I am going to be honest, whenever I found this company I got a little bit nervous. The Namesake Crewe & Swivel Glider was sold out EVERYWHERE - even on Namesake's website and I was devastated. BUT THEN I found it on this website WITH a shipment date within days of ordering. I definitely had concerns because in my mind I didn't understand how everywhere could be sold out of this chair BUT this random website I found on google could possibly have this chair in stock! I did some more research and even though this company had great reviews, I was still nervous when I saw that there were no refunds or returns. However, I decided to just go for it and I am SO glad that we did! Our chair showed up within two weeks of ordering in PERFECT condition and we absolutely love it. Modern Nursery was incredible to work with and their customer service is excellent. I reached out not long after purchasing to just see if the expected shipping date was accurate and they responded within hours and let me know that the chair would actually ship before it had originally said. They were in constant communication with me and Namesake to ensure a timely delivery. I would definitely recommend this company and this product! “This recliner-glider in the white boucle ended up being an amazing decision. The fabric is softer than that of pottery barn kids or crate and barrel kids. It is similar in dimensions to our favorite chairs from there that we were able to try in-store, so we took a leap of faith with this non-refundable purchase. It is supreme in style and comfort. I love that it has a wooden base- that was possibly the biggest selling point. The handle to recline is hidden next to the inner cushion, which I think is another added bonus above the aforementioned “manual” versions of the chair. Two negatives are apparent to me so far - 1: my feet don’t touch the ground when I’m fully seated back in the chair, I’m 5’6. 2) the padding in the arm rests is very soft and doesn’t pop-back into shape without a little molding. My fear is that it will be a permanent dent with time and use.
As for wear and tear, not sure yet. Our baby has not yet arrived, but my husband loves it for a reading chair in the meantime!”
