“Babe isn't here yet, but I definitely agonized over what kind of nursing chair to get. I wanted something that wasn't plain white/gray, but also fit with other decor in the house because the nursing chair was going into our bedroom while baby slept in our bedside bassinet, and then would transition over to her nursery at a future date. It's just neutral enough to fit a range of decor, it's comfortable, smooth swivel/rocking motion, and the wooden base adds to it stylistically. Also love that it isn't powered - just wanted something simple and manual. Can't speak to longevity yet but so far so good!”
“I’ve had this recliner for about 2 months and absolutely love it. High, super padded armrests perfect for holding baby, extremely comfortable for rocking, and best of all, a high back that’s perfect for tall parents. I’m 5’11” and my husband is 6’2”. Both of us can sit very comfortably and rest our heads back in the chair. We have a Pottery Barn recliner for my first son, and this is very similar quality for much cheaper! The gingham pattern is also gorgeous and so unique. Just as pictured - a soft beige color and not too loud.
The one part I don’t love as much is the recliner. While it’s great aesthetically there’s a hidden recliner lever within the seat, I’ve found this hard to reach while holding a sleeping newborn. The recline itself is a bit stiff too so you really have to shift your body weight to keep the chair reclined. Maybe that will loosen up. That said, it doesn’t outweigh the other positives for me. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this chair!”
Dear Kelly, thank you so much for taking the time to give our Crewe Recliner & Glider your honest and wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you've been enjoying your recliner for the past 2 months and that it has exceeded your expectations.
We're glad to know that the high and super padded armrests have been perfect for holding your baby, and that the chair has been extremely comfortable for rocking. We understand the importance of having a high back for taller parents, and we're glad that both you and your husband can sit comfortably and rest your heads back in the chair.
We're also happy to hear that you find our recliner to be of similar quality to a Pottery Barn recliner, but at a much more affordable price. The gingham pattern, as you mentioned, is indeed gorgeous and unique, and we're glad that it looks just as pictured - a soft beige color that is not too loud.
We appreciate your feedback about the recliner lever and the stiffness of the recline. We understand that it can be challenging to reach the lever while holding a sleeping newborn, and we apologize for any inconvenience. We hope that with time, the recline will become easier to adjust. Nonetheless, we're glad that these minor drawbacks haven't outweighed the other positive aspects of the chair for you.
Once again, thank you for your kind words and recommendation. We're thrilled that you're extremely happy with your purchase, and we look forward to serving you again in the future. :)
“This chair is extremely comfortable and the higher back has been great for taller family members to sit and rock the baby to sleep. It’s pretty seamless to move between gliding, swiveling and reclining. I’m 5’4” so it’s a little harder to close the recliner once it’s fully reclined but it’s easy enough even with the baby. The colors are great and love the gingham, it’s timeless!”

“My husband and I are both loving this chair! It glides smoothly and reclines easily (manual lever). We wanted a cute, gender-neutral pattern that was something other than the typical white nursery chair.”
Hi Diane, thank you for the review! We are glad to hear that you and your husband are enjoying it, and we are so pleased that you found the perfect glider pattern for your nursery. :)
