“I wear 10.5 in most shoes, slightly wide, healthy toes. So I decided on 9’s based on what I’ve read from other reviewers. I broke them in as described - spray inside of shoe, wear socks. But I wore them for a couple of hours around the house, instead of the prescribed 30 minutes. My mistake!
Once fully dry, I tried wearing them and to my dismay, the back and sides had overstretched to the point that they kept falling off like slides. It was so bad that the heel of the shoe was getting caught under foot when I walked quickly. Pretty much unusable!
I considered returning and getting the next size down, but the toe box is already a bit small to my liking, and the sole was just the right size.
So I returned to rewetting the overstretched parts, pulling back into shape, and letting dry. Vast improvement. Next I will rewet again and use a hair dryer on low to target specific spots that are still a little overstretched. Pretty sure they’ll be great after that.”
