“These sandals were beautifully made but I had to return them. I am consistently a size 11US but because these were handmade I wanted to double check and make sure they would work for me. I contacted the company through email, as suggested on their site, and was told the size 11 sandals were 11 1/8 inches long. This should have worked for me so I placed my order but upon receiving the sandals I discovered they were shorter than what I was told (10 3/4 inches), making them unwearable. I contacted the company and asked for a full refund. I got a quick reply and they agreed to return them with free shipping but because they needed to cross the border I would not be refunded the duties and taxes I had paid. On top of this, the return exchange rate wasn't enough to cover the initial price I paid for the sandals. All in all I lost $80cdn to this purchase. This is frustrating considering I had contacted the company to confirm they would work in the first place. So... beautiful sandals but be cautious about what size you order even if you check with the company first.”
