“again, similar to my review of the crate pad waterproof liner, great in theory, didn't work for us in practice. i was buying to use for my current foster dogs and any future dogs. i have lots of extra blankets in the summer months to fill a bed with. unfortunately the depth of this crate pad I felt was too thick. in order for the liner to not slide around inside the bed (read: turn into a fun toy for dog) it must be packed very full, which makes it quite tall and reduces room in the crate quite a bit. while this foster was in a cone, I couldn't use it at all. once we did use it, I tried a few different fillings but he didn't seem to love it. eventually when he tore a hole in another bed and started ripping out the stuffing, I used this to cover it and that worked for a bit until he started tearing holes in that too. moral of the story is: its voluminous and will create a significant pad in the bottom of your crate, and not good for dogs who are chewers. this dog is new to me so by the time I realized he was, we already had holes. it is easy to wash and comes clean which I love, and again the concept is genius. i would consider purchasing again if there was a thinner version- like 2 inches deep when filled.”

“The cover seems to be well made and is a sturdy fabric. I just purchased this two days ago so time will tell how it holds up! I have a 100 lb. golden lab. I would give a 5 star rating, but I'd like to see how the stitching and zipper holds up before I do that. Otherwise, I'm happy with the purchase!!!”
