“I gave the car seat cover a try hoping it might work but found the print to be way too busy. There wasn't any other fabric choice I wanted to live with every day in such a small space. George, who seems a pleasant problem solver, suggested I consider ordering a custom one because there were a few different fabric pattern choices. It took a week to get a response from that dept after having chosen the only pattern available I liked. A week later I received a vague, "We are not able to accommodate you at this time" response. I felt it a very inadequate and impersonal response and contrary to everything Charles, the customer service agent had indicated. I was also told that there was product availability on a bed duvet and then, in the same conversation, that indeed there was none available. So much for "We'll make it right." When I first dealt with this company, the reviews were great and I wanted to support a small, private company. I no longer feel that way and would not recommend it - and I find that regrettable.”

Hi Patricia, We’re sorry you feel this way. We looked back at your custom request and it took us 3 business days to respond—that’s a pretty standard response time for our small team that wears a lot of hats. Our full response to your request is below, for reference. It’s short yes, but “inadequate” feels like a harsh description. As for the bed duvet availability, while we were on the phone I checked our inventory and it showed we had 1 left. We had just put that item on sale and it was selling fast, so I went into the warehouse to make sure it was available. Unfortunately, someone else bought it, and since it hadn’t shipped yet, the inventory still showed as 1. I explained this while on the phone and apologized for suggesting we had one for you. It’s a regrettable situation, but I’m not sure how that flies in the face of our “we’ll make it right” philosophy. We’re always looking to improve, so we’re open to suggestions. We spent over 30 mins on the phone trying to find a solution that would meet your aesthetic taste (which you admit is quite particular) but we were unable to do so. “Fabric is sturdy and am hoping for longer life than others bought elsewhere. Less slippery so my boy slides less on surface.”
