“Pros: It looks great, it fits the sofa and it stays put nicely if you buy the straps. Cons: It cannot go in the dryer!! Don't be dumb like I was and assume that because it can be washed, it can also be dried. Nope. You either need to line dry it or lay it flat to dry. It's huge. I don't have a clothesline and I don't have a clean surface that big to dedicate to laying it flat. I'm going to put it in the dryer and hope for the best, but I'm really disappointed in both myself (for not reading the details) and Molly Mutt for making such a ridiculous design choice.”

Hi Martha, Thank you very much for your review. While we do recommend line or hang drying, there is absolutely nothing that prohibits you from using the dryer. Our couch covers are totally dryer safe. The only potential issue is a small amount of shrinking that might occur that you would avoid by line or hang drying. However our couch covers will definitely withstand the dryer without any negative impacts to any of the components on the couch cover.

“Well made, attractive sofa protector fits my sofa perfectly. I like that it covers the arms as well. I’ll probably need to wash it at a laundromat as the cover is rather large, but it truly does protect the sofa and holds its shape.”

“This cover fits the size of our couch perfectly and is very cute and durable. We’re happy with the protection it gives the couch and are confident it will protect it. Our one frustration is that it’s not non-slip at all. It’s saving grace is that it has the foam rolls that push down behind the cushions, otherwise I’m sure it would have fallen off multiple times already in the week or so we’ve had it. The non slip dots don’t do anything on the leather, it would be better off with more of a rubber backing, similar to the one that I have in my car. I plan to either sew on or buy sheet clips that can go from the armrest overhang under the couch to connect with the back overhang. The one I bought for my car for much less is way more secure. This isn’t a bad product, I’d just expect it to function better for the price.”

“perfect size for our couch and it stays put, despite dogs jumping on and off it constantly (including big dogs). Looks like it will be easy to launder, although we haven't done that yet.”

“This is a well made couch cover. I am covering a leather sofa with it. Minimal slippage. It covers the arms, front and back well. Worth the price if you are looking for quality. Well packaged and shipped quickly. I have an adorable constellation patterned car seat cover. Many compliments given.”
