Luckily my dog isn't too messy, but I love knowing that any spills are easy to clean!

This is a great companion to the dog bed covers. It will keep my foam insert in good shape, and I can just remove the outer cover for occasional washing. When my foam wears out, I'll get a Molly Mutt wool insert. The less waste the happier I am.

A must-have with 11 dogs that don't like to go out when it's raining.

Our dog loves the sheepy bed, and so do we. After an allergic reaction to a mushroom that resulted in surprise expulsions we decided to keep a cover on hand for those threatening occasions. Protect the sheepy mattress! We only use it when our guy is sick, which thankfully is not often.

The size was as described, and it fits the bed and cover perfectly. I haven't washed it yet, but it appears very sturdy and well-constructed. The water repellent treatment also holds in air, so we have to leave it unzipped a couple of inches in order for air to escape when the dog plops down on it.

the cover actually holds air like a balloon so its hard for the dog to get comfortable and it makes a bit of noise as they move around, like a plastic bag. I don't know about how well it repels water, but its not great on the other factors.

Thank you for your review! Easy fix here - just before you fully zip up the armor inner liner, gently push out the air that is trapped inside. Then zip up the rest of the way. We sew the armor extremely tight in order to provide the water-resistant performance, so air can get caught. Simply pushing any trapped air out through a slightly open zipper does the trick!
