“This concealer works great for me. - I took a chance on this after seeing the video. I wasn’t disappointed at all! I bought this and the powder/shadow set. I also bought the kissproof lipstick. Great products.”
“Disappointed in the concealer - I think it should be noted, that although I am a mother of young children, I don’t like the title “Mommy makeup.” It’s infantilizing. Ok, I got over it enough to try the concealer since other under-eye concealers haven’t worked for me in the past. One thing I think parents want is something that is for them that doesn’t have anything to do with their children. Especially if, like me, we spend a good chunk of the day with them (I work from home). So the childish packaging and design of the products is annoying. Can’t that just be sleek and beautiful? Putting on makeup starts with the packaging for me.
As far as the concealer functions—as a concealer—it was so so. I felt like at first the coverage was ok but after an hour or two had settled into the fine lines under my eyes making them seem even worse. But the deal breaker for me is the smell of this product. I think it has zinc oxide in it, which is great, but it literally smells like diaper cream. The last thing that lifts my mood and helps me feel beautiful and lovely is putting something that smells like my kid’s butt on my face. That kills the experience for me. I would absolutely NOT recommend this product to any mother. I never plan to buy this again. We’ll see if I end up using what I have now.”
