Wonderful instructional material for children without them thinking they are being instructed.

The same map was used by my son 23 years ago, we played the game of placing a raisin on each state, and naming a state fact. He loved it! He had all the states and facts memorized by age 3.

Great placemats, with thick lamination

This needs a rubber backing so that it doesn't slip and slide on the table. Also, a simpler, cleaner graphic would be much better for young children.

I bought this United States placemat because my son asked me where we live. He loves looking at the map and showing me where various family members and friends live. High quality, bright colors, and very durable.

My daughter and I ordered 14 of these place mats and 14 of the world place mats. She took most of them back to Germany with her to give as gifts to her German and African friends.

Montessori products are not just for kids! I actually purchased this U.S. map placemat and a world map placemat for my elderly in-laws! They wanted to be able to see all the places that their grandchildren are living in and visiting.

Useful with four year olds whose parents travel. Gives a frame of reference for where they are.
