I bought this chopper for my 4 y.o. granddaughter wondering if it really would chop successfully - the answer is a big fat YES!! It is all they say and better. She totally loves helping me prepare the veggies for dinner and the wavy cut is very appealing! It is very easy to use and it is safe. We both love it!

We enjoyed a lot of chopping, and grandma liked cooking and eating the wavy slices!

We just used this chopper with my 2.5 year old son (obviously supervised) and it was great! He loved being able to help in the kitchen by actually chopping up a green pepper. It was easy for him to hold and use.

This works very well with my preschoolers, age 4 and 5, for cutting fruit and veggies. They can use 2 hands to push down on it, getting the pressure they need for cutting. The blade is sharp enough to cut food, but does not injure their hands, so I feel comfortable using for classroom cooking projects.

2.5 year old daughter now thinks she makes all of our meals. She cuts carrots, celery, onions, apples and cheese. I was nervous she might be able to hurt herself, but she uses two hands to push it down so nothing is in the way. Only thing that would be better is if we could throw it into the dishwasher, but it isn't a big deal to clean. No less than 5 friends have ordered one now that they've seen it.

My 3 year old is thrilled to help me cut vegetables. It certainly takes longer to prepare a meal, but it makes that usually grouchy post-nap pre-dinner time a joy. She is so proud and can handle the chopper better than I expected. At this point, I have to hold the vegetable and show her where to chop, but I think she will get the hang of it. The chopper is just the right amount of sharpness. Sharp enough to cut with a little effort, but not so sharp that I'm worried. Thanks for offering such a great product at such an affordable price.

This is an absolutely perfect "knife" for little hands. My students worked with one so well in my classroom, I gave them each one for Christmas!
