“My four-year-old and six-year-old love pouring their own drinks at the dinner table with this pitcher. I have one with milk and one with juice always ready in the fridge. They are very durable but not too heavy for the kids. Our three-year-old neighbor enjoys pouring her drinks when she comes over.”

“We use these pitchers every day. They are easy for the children to pour their own water for snack, building independence and confidence. I don't use the cover and have not had many spillage problems. If they do spill...it holds only water! They only breakage we have had is by adults..not by the children!”

“Gave this to my three and a half year old to use. It helps our family by allowing us to see how much she is drinking and allowing her to pour her own drinks without our help. Its perfect for her small hands. Wish I had bought sooner. I plan to use it with my second child.”

“This is a very nice pitcher, but I was expecting it to have a better-sealing lid. It can be "closed" with the easy-to-turn lid, but the liquid is still easily poured out even in the closed position (and when not open, it pours liquid out all over and is messier). It is a very wonderful size and weight, however. My two-year-old son loves this pitcher and can easily use it to pour his own juice each morning (and even some for his mama, too)!”

“We purchased two of these to replace some older pitchers that broke. We've also purchased the 16.5 oz Large Salzburg Jug from this site. I asked my kids which one they liked better, and they all agreed that they like this one because of the lid. They say it makes it easier to pour without spilling. My husband and I like these small pitchers because it helps the kids be more independent. I would also have to say, because they enjoy pouring their own drinks, my kids are much better about drinking more throughout the day!”

“My 3&4 year old adore this pitcher. It makes them so happy to take control of their beverages, and also teaches them to control their portions. If they pour it, they need to drink it. We keep one for water and one for milk.”
