These items were given to our 3 1/2 year old grandson who likes to help his dad with outdoor chores. He was thrilled with them! They may be a bit too large for him, but that didn't stop his usage. Where the handles have a hole going through them at the top for hanging, my husband had to sand those areas as I got a sliver in my finger when I pulled them out to inspect them upon delivery. Otherwise, they are great!

I bought these tools for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. They are sturdy and really work! He loves using them when I am also working in the garden with my tools. I was pleasantly surprised at how tough and sturdy the metal parts are on these tools. They should last a long time!

exactly as described. well- made, perfect. i am tired of looking at children's tools that are make-believe, play tools. these are well constructed, real tools. they are well-priced. if a child cannot achieve their objective with a tool, they will get frustrated, and walk away from the task (as i would). good tools are important, satisfaction is rewarding, and work is enjoyable. a good tool is simple, weight-balanced,and has as few moving parts as needed : it's not rocket science, and these tools satisfy that requirement.

my daughter loved this set especially the rake. only concern was the rust around the nail holes where the handle is attached to the metal tool end.

Our four grandsons live with their mom and dad and have a great big driveway. They love to push pea gravel, dirt, and leaves around. They are great little workers! They use the tools easily, and they are very sturdy tools. We couldn't be happier!

My Grandson couldn't hardly wait to get his coat and gloves on so that he and his Dad could go outside and shovel the freshly fallen Chrismas snow with his new tools

Having used these tools in the classroom and been quite pleased, they were my first chioice when looking to meet our grandson's intense interest in all things "lawn care". They were the perfect Christmas gift. He had out grown the beach type rake and shovel. He takes his yard work very seriously and began to immediately put his new tools to good use. They are sturdy and the size is perfect and will still fit him for a few years. When he outgrows the smaller set, the larger set will be the next purchase. Since he is very thorough, we added the push broom.

I find that kids know the difference between "play" tools and "real" usable tools. These are sturdy and high quality--will last a good long time.
