“Today I finally loaded up my 2010 Ducati Multistrada S, weight 480 lbs. I have loaded my 400 lb to 530 lb bikes on trailers and hitch racks before for 20+ years previously. The MoTow is by far the easiest loading and unloading method to carry my current very heavy bike. I did need to use a 18V Ryobi impact driver to lift my Multistrada, because the 18V Ryobi drill which worked easily to lift my 410 Lb 2018 Zero SR to tow, would with the much heavier Multistrada halt repeatedly, but the impact drill worked well. The two bikes I've used with the Motow ride behind my Sienna van very easily, and I can see the bike through the rear window making baking up pretty easy. The bike would bounce around on my local rough roads, and did scrape a couple times with no damage entering and leaving gas station entrances when I forgot to take an angle with my rather low rear hitch. On smooth roads I could not tell without looking back that I was towing anything. My Motow was shipped quickly for free, and was very well packed with no damage or missing items. I am very pleased with my MoTow, well worth the money for such ease of use, high quality, and great customer service.”
Raymond,
Thank you for providing your review of the MoTow 18" Adjustable Motorcycle Tow Hitch. It's wonderful to know that you are finding it easy and convenient to use with both bikes. Thanks for sharing the tip about using the more powerful impact driver to raise and lower for your Multistrada. I hope you have many miles of fun with it!

“I've been using your product for years and it is a great travel carrier for my motorcycle I travel from Florida to Tennessee carrying my Yamaha super tenere 1200 1400 miles round trip and no issues.”
“excellent customer service. they were quick to answer questions about the dimensions of the tow hitch before I purchased. the hitch itself is of excellent quality. I highly recommend.”
“I just used this unit to tow my Versy on a 250 mile round trip. It was so easy to use. Installation is a snap and so mounting and dismounting the bike. A one-person operation. It towed great. Very secure and could t even tell I had anything hooked up. Much better on gas mileage than using my trailer. High quality unit. Make sure you get the optional hitch support (it's only a few dollars more) when you order your unit, it really makes everything very solid and secure.”
Thank you for your review, Patrick! I'm glad you are enjoying the convenience and gas savings, and find it solid and reliable. I enjoyed seeing you at the Garage Brewed Motorcycle Show at Rhinegeist Brewery again this year! Jill
“The Motow worked very well attached to my Toyota RAV4 towing a Honda 250L Rally. I used it on the highway and on twisty back-roads. The 18" model reached all the way down to the ground when lowered with this particular vehicle. With the motorcycle hooked, I was still able to open and use the back door on the car.”
“I recently bought the Motow to tow my 2019 KTM 390 Duke. I love to ride, but not in cities and highways because too many crazy drivers. I want to keep my riding to scenic roads that go through canyons and mountains. The Motow allows me to drive to a location, dismount my bike, and ride where the riding is fun and safe. After a long search I found the Motow, the answer to my problem of safely getting my motorcycle to where I wanted to ride.
I'm very quality oriented and I've bought bike racks that work but are poorly made. In contrast the Motow is a precision device that is made to very high standards. The holes line up perfectly, the tolerances throughout are very tight, and the welds are aircraft quality (in a previous life I was an aircraft mechanic on the old F-4 Phantoms). The entire Motow is made of beautiful stainless steel. When I roll my bike on to the cradle, it hold perfectly.
In use, it is very easy to load and unload my 365 pound bike on the cradle. It holds the bike upright while I attach the straps that secure the rear wheel. Everything else is easy to do. The handlebars are held in place by straps with ratchets. Watch the installation video, follow the instructions and it's not difficult. I practiced in my driveway a few times to make sure that I knew what I was doing.
To conclude, this product exceeded my expectations. It's easy to use, doesn't weigh much, is extremely well made and doesn't take up a lot of space when not in use. It eliminates the most dangerous part of riding a motorcycle by allowing the rider to drive to that beautiful scenic ride up in the mountains or down through a canyon.”
