Zeer goed georganiseerde 1-dag trip, stipt vertrek en aankomst, zeer duidelijke en interessante informatie op de bus gekregen, leuke groep, de mevrouw was een zeer aangename gids, ook heel rustige, veilige chauffeur. Correcte info en hulp bij geldwissel aan de grens.
Spijtig dat er niet meer tijd restte om het pittoreske dorp te bezoeken. minpuntje: de verplaatsing is tamelijk ver voor 1-dagtrip. Een 2-daagse zou ik toch ook interessant vinden .

“Really fascinating day trip from Bucharest. Knowledgeable guide, skilled driver. Lunch was delicious, and time alone to pick up beautiful souvenirs was great (some of the best quality porcelain bowls I've ever bought). The monastery was enjoyable, but after seeing the Tsarevets ruins, I'd vote for a single day wandering around Veliko Tarnovo. The Bulgarian border police computers went down just as we were trying to cross back into Romania, which halted our journey for hours (no food! no bathroom!). Our guides made the best of the snafu, even though it messed up their evening plans/obligations just as much as the passengers on the tour. They kept everyone in good spirits, and it made the trip more memorable. :)”
