“This rice is more than just floral in aroma. It is almost perfumey. That said, it is still white rice so the aroma is very subtle. More subtle than, say your average jasmine. I can see it accompanying a very refined and traditional japanese menu with lots of ume, strong fish, maybe shiso. Think imperial! Its charms are lost on my common, farmhouse-type cooking. I'm going to have to up my game to match it.”
