“Seems to be very easy on knife edges and very easy to clean”

“I already had two very large cutting boards. One rubber. One Larchwood. I got the Hasegawa for quick jobs with meat and fish. Turns out I use it more than the two. Easy to clean. Easy to store away after use. My ZDP and R2 knives have good edge retention. The Hasegawa will improve edge retention even more. (My next toy will likely be an AS Kiritsuke or Petty.”

“Pros: Very useful size, particularly for home cooks. Doesn't dull my knives. Can be put in the dishwasher. Con: Hard to get stains out - but hey, we bought it for utility, not beauty.”

“I really like Hasegawa cutting boards. This one is the softer type, which makes good for delicate goods. Not good for a hard chopping or firm cuts.”
