Everything about this knife is excellent from fit and finish to the thickness and impressive details of the blade. The quality of the knife is very impressive and far better then my Masamoto KS Knife's from the other company. Just better quality all around and mine has a nice polished finish. It is also crazy sharp out of the box for a Kasumi White Steel 2 knife it does not get any better. Truly a hand forged and finished masterpiece of a knife. I put it right to work on a sink load of fish from 2 pounds to seven pounds and was so pleased!! I'm getting more for the Kitchen. Chef Richard

I never knew what a Japanese blade was until I started using my Tsukiji Masamoto Deba. Ample amount of metal makes cutting through fish heads and other bones really simple. Make sure you pick up 2 quality wet stones to keep this absolute masterpiece in top shape
