“The only one of these things I've tried that is big enough to hold cerax 3030 or debado md stones properly. I just put cheap little blade guards or little pieces of wood under shapton glass or other thin stones that barely peek over the rubber. Also, I prefer the single nut adjustment to the 2 nut adjustment now that I have it, though that is pretty minor. Mostly it is big enough while my other stone holders were not... my sink bridge is just a platform with nothing to hold the stones in place except gravity, this works way better than a wet towel.”

“I like the heft and quality of this holder. The nut spins easily so you can quickly adjust for different length stones. It does smell like it’s made out of recycled tires. I think the smell is beginning to dissipate now. The other complaint I have is that the ends are unnecessarily tall. My Shapton Glass stones just barely stick over the top on the ends.”
