“I bought this as a gift for my son, but I tried it out in my own kitchen first. (Within the family so I took the liberty.) It is a very nice mandoline, much better than the two I have. The slicing thickness control seems infinite and easily adjustable, and it could handle carrots even. I didn't try any attachments (julienne blade, etc). And it's much easier and quicker to clean than my food processor, which would make me use the Super Benriner more often and if my dish didn't call for a large quantity of sliced vegetable, etc. Oh, and the Benriner didn't force me to cut up the vegetable like squash or sweet potato as the food processor does to fit into the feed tube. I'm thinking hard about buying one for myself. Price was the best I could find, and the mandoline was very well packaged for shipment.”

“This is an incredibly sharp device and it works very well at slicing. I liked the very fine level of adjustment for thickness and once set up you could slice very quickly. I would recommand a good protective glove and make sure to use the produce holder for extra safety. Do not under estimate the blade sharpness on this. If you need to slice a lot of fruit or vegetables I would recommend getting one.”

“I didn't like that it took almost 3 weeks to arrive. I don't buy anything from amazon but didn't think it would take 3 weeks to arrive. Good product though.”

“Love the ease of using this Mandoline. Plan to try every possible combination of blades as farmeers markets begin to open. Just wish that these "international" brands would mark the width adjuster with the most common cm/inches intervals. It is the one outstanding feature on the OXO brand.”
