“This bowl is the perfect size for a serving of udon or ramen soup. I bought two of these bowls to match two I already have. They don't exactly match because of the blue trim; my "old" bowls have gray trim. But the bowls are beautiful nonetheless.”

“The glaze is gorgeous. The drippy, organic bluish-green trim topping the rich brown glaze of the bowl. The size and shape are perfect for cereal, noodles, soups and salads. I am very happy with this purchase.”

“It's a very beautiful bowl, however it feels misleading to advertise it as 33 fl oz when it cannot hold 33 fl oz.”

Thank you for shopping with us and we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We measure capacities to fill the water up to the brim so that we can keep the consistency not to be like sometimes 70% filled up or 80% filled up. However, it was not mentioned on the product page (we just changed the description to add it). If you need to return the products, please let us know.

“The size is perfect for me but if you are used to the restaurant size, this will be on the small side. It certainly does not hold 33 fluid ounces, more like 17 ounces near the top.”
