“Coming from a standard $30 rice cooker from a big box store, this one doesn’t disappoint. It does cost 5x more, but I’m getting perfect rice that is warm at all times. With the old rice cooker I get brown spots all the time. If I don’t cover the pan with a cloth, the steam caught by the lid would condense and drip down as water, making the rice soggy at the bottom and spoils it in a short time. None of these problems exists with the Zojirushi.”

“While I haven't done as much cooking as I'd like, it's phenomenally easy make rice (and steam some tasty veggies) now - having read the instructions, just add the appropriate amounts of rice and water, hit a button, and get on with the rest of it. Boom, easy, tasty, and almost no clean up. Perfect.”
