“I found having two of the Shapton stone holders made my sharpening more efficient as I could sharpen and then polish without delay of changing stones. Call the MTC team, they are deeply knowledgeable!”

“Having a number of Shapton stones in, both, the GlassStone and Pro lines this holder seemed like a natural choice. In fact, I had and used the lighter holder that came as part of a set of 3 GlassStones. Now I routinely use this holder instead due to its stability on the bench -- even if the bench gets a bit wet from the stones the extra weight of this holder keeps it from slipping. It is well worth the investment especially if you can buy it during an MTC sale.”

“I received this over the holidays and have quickly come to love it. Much more solid than the boxes the SP's come in and gets them to a very workable height. Fits the SP and SG perfectly, also fits my Gesshin and other normal size stones.”

“This holder is heavy! I kind of regret buying this... Should've gone for the lighter field holder so I can carry it around with me. Now I have to keep it at the restaurant all the time. Hope it won't get stolen :s Otherwise it's a very steady holder and I use my glass stones on them.”
