“Hated these stones at first but took some time to break in. After leveling them out they worked much better now leave the best edges! They are slow to dish and cut super fast. Leaving not just hair shaving but hair popping edges”

“I love to experiment from diamond, ceramic oil & whetstones (natural/man mad), etc., to personally experince "the feel" of each format to HONESTLY evaluate exactly what I will useful the remainder of the joy of knife appreciation & maintenance! the Shapton line of sharpening tools & supplies, equip you with the BEST (for me) way to maintain the sharpest blade edge possible of blade tools which need sharpening from time to time. Shapton products are NOT cheap but are justifiably high priced for their ability to perform! If you could afford collecting knife collecting of high quality, this investment is worthy to get! For me, this buy is a NO BRAINER! Once you try these stones, you'll get SPOILED to never going back! WHY? As soon as you start to use the system, immediate gratification is felt to the level of WOW! TRY THEM! They will definitely NOT DISSAPPOINT!!”
