beautiful pot made in japan. hoping to get years of use from it! i'd also like to mention how well the two saucepans were packaged and protected when i received them. good job with the shipping, mtc kitchen!

This is a great lightweight stainless steel saucepan with a wooden handle that feels marvelous in your hand. There is even a stainless collar to protect the wood from any flames that a gas burner might send up the sides. The wood handle is even easily replaceable with spares available for purchase. My wife makes cocoa every night on her induction cooktop with this pot. The ingredients are 1 percent milk and Corona Traditional bar chocolate from Columbia. Her previous saucepan had no spout and it used to be somewhat messy pouring into 3 mugs. I saw the double pouring spouts and thought this might work for her, especially after reading a review which praised the spout's pouring ability. I just want to set the record straight that in our experience it will only be mess-free, with cocoa at least, if it is poured with the smallest stream possible. That is possible to do as the pot is so light but it does end up cooling the cocoa more than one would prefer. Nonetheless, it remains a beautiful, light, easy to clean and delightful to hold saucepan. It is a shame the spouts fail so, at least with our cocoa. I still rate it 5 stars but it would be a 10 if it worked as it should. I will note that we bought this pan in two sizes and they pour identically poorly.

I’ve been looking for a Yukihira that works on induction. Finally found this one. It works great! The pan is light, water boils quick on induction. Very good quality pan.
