“Came shaving sharp, for a stainless steel this blade is easy to re sharpen as well. Blade is shaped like a baby santoku, long enough for larger fruit, short enough for detail work. Fairly thin, wedges just a bit in stiff fruit such as the apple shown in picture (A Braeburn, fresh off my tree, very crisp...). The "saya" it comes with is OK, if it had a retention pin, it could be even better. I took the rateing down from 5 to 4 stars for the lack of retention pin.”
