It's honestly hard to describe. I've ventured into the world of good chef knives and thought a Fuji Narihira and a few Kiwis were the pinnacle of it all. I was very wrong. This knife has opened my eyes to the potential of knives beyond what we're led to believe in the general marketing space we live in. I can't describe what it feels like to cook and cut with this knife. No, it's not $300 plus so you might not consider it a prime top of the line Japanese Gyuto, but let me tell you, if you're a home cook aficionado like me you will absolutely love this knife. Take care of it. VG10 is a great steel and you can get her sharp as heck if you need to.

this is my first professional knife. i am absolutely amazed at how much difference it makes in my work. i will never use kitchen knives again
