I spent a long time debating whether I should invest in a professional kitchen knife. Eventually I decided that it was worth investing in a serious tool instead of using the decent but cheaper knives that I already had. After years of waiting I skeptically decided to make that investment. It took years to make that decision, but it only took a moment or two of using the Kintaro Aogami to not only feel satisfied that it was a good decision, but also to be struck with a sense of regret for taking so long to get with the program. Using this knife is a joy. It is easy to handle, insanely sharp, and an absolutely gorgeous piece of art. The details of the knife testify to the level of craftsmanship that went into constructing it, and the experience of using it lets you know that it's design is practical as well. Obviously, I can't say enough good things about this knife. I love it, and it changed my perception about the value of having serious tools in your kitchen.
