I am a 68 y.o., 130Lb female. The recommended dose knocks me on my butt, and I am still "hungover" at 10 a.m. I suggest trying less of the recommend dose the first time you use this. I mix it in a cup of hot water. To deal with the clumps, I use a mini wisk. Otherwise, I will be stirring and mashing clumps against the side of the glass for a few minutes.

I have tried a few different sleep aids -- natural and synthetic. Personally, I hate the synthetic, but I hate not sleeping even more. So far, this is the best natural sleep aid I've found. Even better, it's not JUST melatonin. Nighttime is repair time. This is more than a sleep aid, but is a supplement, so it accomplishes more than just helping you sleep. I agree with the others that mixing with a spoon is a struggle and I end of mashing the lumps against the sides of the mug. I have only tried Sleepy Cider; maybe Sleepy Cocoa mixes better. So far, I have only used hot water, but will try hot almond milk. Also, I'll try the frother and look at other suggestions, but it'd be nice if they weren't needed since I plan to use this in the backcountry too. I would still recommend this product to anyone!

I really like all the vitamins in this and the sleep aid is amazing. I include this with a scoop of ammo for a night time recovery cocktail in cold milk. This doesn't otherwise mix very well with cold liquids, and takes a couple rounds of microwave/stir when drinking it hot.

At this point you're reading the reviews because you're still hesitant in giving it a try, but you're still interested because you're here, still reading..... Go ahead and pick out a flavor and place your order. It's not a miracle drug but it falls nothing short of a miracle the way it first seems relieve just every day stress and shortly after gently tucks you away for a guaranteed nights rest....not to mention - no side effects the next morning, other than you'll feel 10X better!!!

I’m on my third bag of slumber now, initially I didn’t see any difference in my ability to fall asleep or stay asleep, but now as I have been using this consistently I notice a big difference in my sleep quality. I have always struggled with sleep and this slumber really does help you feel tired sooner and stay asleep. Some tricks I’ve found while using is to always mix with milk. I’ve used whole and coconut milk and both are great, I just think the product tastes better in a creamier base. Also, lots of people say this is hard to mix with a spoon. This is true, I got a mini beverage whisk and it has been a game changer. Don’t knock this until you’ve built a routine to better accommodate sleep. Limit screen time before bed & drink this an hour before you plan to be in bed.

This is great, I've been drinking it before bed for years and I don't have a single complaint. All the flavors are great but Sleepy Cyder is my favorite. If you are having trouble sleeping or your recovery is less than optimal, give this a go.

Really like the flavor of the salted caramel variety, and customer was very communicative to let me know about delays in shipping. But have had mixed results with getting a full nights sleep. I have always had issues with staying asleep, and was hoping I had found a solution. I have had nights while taking this where I slept all night, but have also had nights where I woke and looked at the clock for hours. I have only been taking for two weeks so maybe not a fair trial yet. Will finish out the pack and see if this improves.
