“I love how completely “plug and play” this grow kit is. The kit is very affordable, especially when compared to the alternative of building a sterile grow environment, and I have piece of mind that the grow kit is safe and will lead to a good outcome. Also, it’s almost idiot proof. Prior to this kit, growing mushrooms in this way required a decent amount of bio lab expertise that would be time consuming and cost prohibitive. With this + some easy to procure spores, you can be up and running in 10 min (and about 50 bucks).
The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because I think they could invest a bit more on product education. I liked that they have little video tutorials but I think other content is needed in support of these. It’s annoying to have to go back and double check details and the written content on the website is not great, hard to find and confusing. My expectation is the QR code would link to a step by step guide with illustrations/photos and clearly written text that maps a timeline from inoculation to harvest and includes time ranges (eg 1-2 weeks). With the current information available, it’s unclear how long it will take from start to finish, and it was frustrating to have to replay the videos looking for a specific detail. Given this is a novel field that will attract many inexperienced users, and the grow bags themselves can be easily replicated by competitors, it will be important to differentiate and build trust via high quality product education.”
“First timer here. I noticed quickly that the temparature is not ideal and varieable so I built a incubation box using spacers, heating mat, thermostat, cooling rack and a probe thermometer with alarm that shows the temp of the bag closest to the heat source. temparature fluxuates about I degree.
Mycilium growth is after 10 days. So far so good.”
“I have tried a variety of grow mediums and grows kits multiple times and while Mushroom Supplies all in one kit "might" appear slightly more expense, in the long run these are a much better value.
I use the same sterilization process everytime have never had any contamination with these kits while I have with other companies kits. Whenever there's contamination it's a total loss and ends up being much more expensive.”

As mycelium began to grow it was fun to watch it spread throughout the bag.
