“I have been using both methods of grow, the 5 lb substrate bag and the grain bag, and so far the grain bag has been my favorite. The Mycelium forms faster in the grain and I like using the monotub a lot more. I did get a fogger machine to assist with controlling the humidity once the grain is in the monotub. This is a fun hobby of mine and the grain bags make it easy to do.”

“I had great success with the all-in-one bag the first time around. This second time I decided to try my hand at the monotub. The first bag still hasn’t worked after 9 weeks, I ordered a second bag about 6 weeks ago and that still hasn’t worked. I’m not convinced that the sterilized grain is the best route to go, the grain seemed very dry and less cared for than the all-in-one bag.”
