This beautiful design is taken from one of Ireland's most treasured artefacts, the Ardagh Chalice, which was discovered in Lough Gur, Co Limerick in 1868.Today the Chalice is housed in the National History Museum of Ireland. The filigree work on the Ardagh Chalice features shield decorations and this design forms the basis which we have used in this ring.
