The Silver has been oxidized to give it a blackened or antique feel in order to reproduce the detail of the original high cross that still stands in Ireland.
The center of the cross is studded with a medium size 10k gold bead, with 4 smaller 10k gold beads set at intervals, North, South, East and West of the circle. The combination and fusion of the two metals create an exceptional piece of jewelry. The cross has excellent proportions and you would be hard pushed to find fault with this design.
