The filigree band on the original Ardagh Chalice has a series of shield decorations with a complex and highly decorative Celtic pattern. This design forms the basis of the Warrior ring and the pattern repeats around the entire band.
This band is the perfect Man's' ring, with interesting features. The pattern has been blackened, or oxidized to give it that 'rugged' look'. The side trims are flattened to a very high polish, which highlight the minute and intricate design in the center.
