I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered the Recon/Best set-up. I have been a SAR/EMS first responder for quite a while and recently started my own nonprofit first responder service and am looking for issued individual packs. I need look no further. This is an excellent responder pack and I was impressed with the packing and included items. In the past I have had to jam much more into prepackaged kits, but all I can think to add for properly trained medics is a Tension Pneumothorax Decompression Needle and chest seal. Excellent product! I will be back for more.

I am a trained wilderness 1st responder. SAR, having a kit bag which can be useful in the fetid or as an adjunct to my go kit is paramount. This basic kit fit the bill.

The Recon kit is by far the most comprehensive IFAK I personally have ever seen outside of an actual hospital. I would recommend this to literally anyone, however, the only thing I would include in the kit would be some sort of antihistamine. It might be included in the best version, but that is my one and only modification to the contents. Oh, and the bag is the coolest looking one here. It's also by long and far the most useful setup I've come across. In spite of that, I plan to modify the kit to act additionally as a backpack. The sling feature is really useful when I'm right beside the person administering aid. But when traveling long distances as I tend to do, I think that having an optional backpack design aspect in addition to the sling would accommodate trail hikes and long distance travels a little easier.

What an amazing pack! Has everything you could need to keep you going until responders can get to you or you can get yourself to a Dr. Fantastic pack for a fantastic price. Highly recommend, will be back for more supplies.

This is the bag I recommended to my sister, brother, neighbors and lived ones with no medical training. When it comes to first-aid buy the best you can, don't be cheap!! I also suggested this bag to my medical professional clients as a back-up to the minuteman medic bag. Lots of great gear in an amazing bag.

I recently purchased the Warrior kit from My medic at a Crossroads Gun Show in Utah. I believe its called the Recon on their website. While I was thinking about which kit to purchase the lady helping me asked what my needs were for the kit and we decided that this was the proper kit. It comes nicely packed in a bag just like the Maxpedition Collossus Versipack. It contains everything you would need for a major emergency while away from medical services. The only things I felt I wanted to add was a better flashlight since the one in the kit isn't very bright. I also added an oral airway kit, and a C.A.T. tourniquet in addition to the supplied SWAT-T tourniquet because I like them and two is better than one anyway. After this the bag was pretty full. The bag is made of 1000 denier nylon and is fully covered with molle strips for adding extras. This particular kit also came with two pistol mag pouches and an AR mag pouch attached to the side molle. The cost seemed a bit high until we started going over all that is contained in the kit and I decided it was well worth the price to have it all in this tight, easy, grab and go package. I would highly recommend this for outdoor enthusiasts as well as for those setting up their preparedness kits. I appreciate the time that was spent putting a proper first aid kit together and would definitely recommend this and all My Medic packages to anybody in the hunt for a great first aid setup.
