“Beautiful design, head and shoulders above anything else in the industry. I feel like initial setup could have been easier - I recommend adding some setup videos to YouTube, I couldn't find any there and had to go to the mycubesafe website for videos.
It would also be great if the company had a more broad online presence - I didn't see many reviews of the safe online or on YouTube and I felt like I had to just take a risk and order it rather than making a fully informed decision. I'm very glad I did because the product is amazing - but there seemed to be a noticeable lack of buzz about the product online.
Battery orientation in the setup process is not intuitive as the 4AA's alternate in polarity orientation and I found the polarity labels hard to see. Initially I just installed all batteries in the same orientation and the product didn't turn on, my initial assumption was that I had a defective unit.
Fingerprint recognition works, but I found that I had to position my finger in the same orientation / angle every time for it to recognize. Making the sensor less orientation-dependent would make for a better user experience, because I am a bit nervous when I use the sensor that I won't get it in the right orientation.
Voice feedback is a nice feature, but I feel like it would make for a noticeably better user experience if the audio resolution were higher and more crisp. The poor audio quality of the speaker made it seem lower quality than the rest of the product.
