It makes my nose bleed. When I blow my nose the tissue is pink and red. Not happy.

Mypurmist handheld steam inhaler is always set at its lowest setting when pressing ON. So if you did not adjust the temperature, your device would provide approximately 100-105 F degrees on war mist. At its highest setting the warm mist is approximately 110-115 F. These temperatures are well below any risk of scalding your mouth, or nasal passages, and it is unlikely that humidifying your airways would have generated a nose bleed. In fact in a study with 1,542 users, two thirds of people suffering from nosebleeds reported less bleeding after using Mypurmist. This is possibly because the warm humidity will moisten otherwise dry and brittle surfaces in your airway passages and thereby prevent bleeding. We would suggest that you try to use the device again but that you hold it an inch or so away from your face. This will lower the temperature significantly. If you experience another nose bleeding episode please stop using it and let us know. But please know that blowing your nose puts great pressure on the small blood vessels in your nose, and which may cause them to bleed regardless of using Mypurmist or not.

I have always had issues with my sinuses. It caused tonsil issues when I was a kid, to the point they wanted to remove them. It turns out my sinuses were the problem, so when I got that under control, the tonsilitis vanished. Recently I got a really intense sinus infection, and this help immensely. I used it about 5-6 times a day, for 5 minutes or so at a time. I was able to feel a difference after the first day.

The Mypurmist Free has really helped with my breathing. My nasal passages feel significantly clearer and the nasal membrane no long feels dried out. I will know more about the benefits when the weather gets warmer and we are deeper into allegery season (when I normally suffer from nose bleeds, but as of now, I am thrilled with the purchase. My only grip would be the frequency with which the inhaler has to be charged, which is every time the distilled water runs out (about after 25-30 minutes of use).
