“I think they are plenty strong and handy. I ran into a problem with my Featherlite 3110 and they don't fit without modification. I have an aluminum rib that runs next to the stake pockets and the top piece of the D-ring hit. I had to grind about 1/16 of an inch off the top plate and now they work. If you have a flush pocket and trailer you should be OK.”

“I bought Trailer Stake Pocket D ring holders for my flat bed trailer to secure my freight which runs from tractors, to cars, to boxes. THE GOOD: They make any rigging look professional, they make it easier to hook up and to unload, they hold the load securely, and they save a lot of damage to the trailer's paint and stake pockets. THE BAD: They can and do slip up and down in the pocket until you get them secure. It helps if you have someone hold them up so the bottom Straight pin is in contact with the bottom of the stake pocket to avoid getting slack in the chain or belt. NOTE: I'm going to try and make a clip or shim to hold mine in place so I can hook-up by myself since I don't always have help available. Do I recommend this product, You Betcha ! They are well built and most importantly they hold the freight quite secure which is their primary function.”

Thank you greatly for giving us such a detailed review on our product. We have made some changes to this product coming up. We have found that some trailers can have different securement depths and so we've come up with multiple securement holes to better hold in the pocket. We will update our page once this item becomes available for sale.
