“To be honest, I was super stoked to try this after watching the “physician” and hearing all of the benefits that she had to say about it. I am sad to say that I was extremely disappointed. It definitely does not have a pleasant smell at all and I’ve been using this long enough now that I should see some kind of results and I honestly do not see any results. When apply it does not leave a soft feeling or anything at all to be honest. I will not buy this again and I do not recommend this product.”
“So, I had hesitation, but decided to give it a try.... I will say 2 weeks into it, great results... skin looks fabulous and I am turning 75 in August.. I staarted out 2x a week, now 3 times a week...Love it”

“Initially it goes on fine but then feels sticky. It has not improved my nighttime regimen at all. Actually my face feels drier after using it instead of smooth.”
Hi Teri! 👋 Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I’ll certainly share this with the team. I understand how disappointing it can be when a product doesn’t meet your expectations. Renew Resurfacing Night Serum is water-based and designed to sink into skin to address issues down deep. Once Renew has fully absorbed, it's possible for skin to feel a little dry on the surface. A key feature in Renew’s formula are the Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs). AHAs are known to support natural cell turnover and spur exfoliation so skin can look and feel fresh. While AHAs are a wonderful way to support resurfacing, they can be sensitizing. For this reason, we recommend applying Renew twice per week and then gradually building up to nightly use as skin adjusts. In addition, I think it’s helpful to think of skincare as a system. We recommend the following routine: 1) Cleanser, 2) Serum, 3) Eye Cream, 4) Face Cream, 5) Face Oil. While you can use Renew by itself, after cleansing, this would only address one area of your skin barrier in one way. Our serums are humectants, meaning that they are formulated to increase hydration. For this reason, we recommend layering moisture on top of the serum. Our creams are emollients, meaning that they are designed to help skin feel smooth and soft. Our face oils are occlusives, meaning that they're designed to create a barrier on the skin to keep moisture in (and environmental aggressors like pollution out). So while Renew is designed to deliver one type of hydration (deep down), we recommend layering moisture to help your skin look and feel its best. All that said, I understand if you’d like to move forward with a return.
