“Fun river, we liked being able to swim in it. Check in was easy. Good service, very engaging trip leader (Colleen). Lunch was surprisingly good and just right for that situation (sitting on rocks on the side of a river). Guide (Hunter) was a little low key, but nice, knowledgeable and very capable.”

“From the time our group arrived to the time we left, everyone at NOC French Broad was personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. Here we were, four 60-year-old women who had two experienced paddlers, going rafting. We chose this river because it was tame. Our guide, Hailey, was so sweet and patient. We learned at lunch that Hailey was quite impressed with us, which obviously made the other guides jealous. The views of the mountains were amazing and even though the day began with rain, the sun eventually shone in the trees and made the mountains even more beautiful. Lunch was nutritious, delicious, and well-rounded. All in all, the half day trip was a wonderful experience...so much so that we are ready for NOC Ocoee. Thanks to the team at NOC and our guide Hailey.”

“Great guides and equipment. Beautiful scenery and a lot of fun. We did the half day French Broad which was perfect for our 10 year old. Lunch was a little gross - soggy crackers and stale lunch meat. Photographer was only at one location instead of three as we were told when we booked, so the only ones you see in the photos are the ones in the front at the one time he took pictures. We switched a few times but the photographer was not there to capture them. The guides did not allow us to put our phone or camera in a wet bag as other outfitters allow. If this was allowed we would have been able to capture a few more good pictures.”

“A great day on the French Broad. Enough to be thrilling, but not so rough to be scary! Staff was well trained and stressed safety, but not at the expense of the fun. We’ll go back!!!”

“We 4 senior citizens had an amazing time with Nigel on our raft trip. He and Harrison did an great job preparing us for the ride. We had lots of fun, splashes, and excitement. The perfect weather, beautiful scenery, and delicious lunch only added to an already perfect day! Thank you so much.”
