“Great trip, appropriate Covid precautions, excellent guide. Temp screening & masks at NOC (not on raft). Guide Mike was cool, professional, skilled, & very knowledgeable about the river. Reduced raft crewing was wise and much appreciated. The only issue here is the lack of communication between the various NOC locations. 1 day prior to the trip, I asked the Gatinburg NOC store in person, and 2 outposts via phone, how many customers they put to a raft. All rep's I spoke with stated that it would be the normal 6-8 people per raft. Maybe different locations use different sized rafts. I was very happy with the reduced # of rafters; mine only had 4. If we knew that before-hand, I would have brought my wife as well, as she is immune deficient, and we need to be extra careful. Anyway, 4 people paddling was sufficient, and we all appreciated the extra space. It was a worthy trip, and I will repeat. The $20 flash drive of photos was a bust, since all photos were taken from the same side of the river, and most captured the couple in front of me. Should've gotten a discounted price for that, but a few of them were good. Regardless, the Pigeon River staff did a great job; super group of people.”

“Excellent first time experience with white water rafting! NOC went above and beyond with Covid precautions as well. Our rafting guide, Nicole (Sadie) was wonderful. She really made the trip for us. I would definitely recommend to family and friends!”
