“Heath, our guide, was integral to making this a great event for us on our vacation! He was very kind. The equipment was satisfactory. The staff were all very happy and made us feel welcome. The bus ride was not long, and we had plenty of room. The wait to get the raft on the water was a little bit because there were so many other rafting companies launching at the same time. There were not as many rapids as we would have liked to experience, but the ones we did encounter were exciting and Heath was very knowledgeable about directing us through them safely. The bathhouse was a big plus afterwards. And the price wasn't so much with the late afternoon discount we received for this particular date. Thanks NOC!”

“We did the Upper Pigeon two times, back to back. Our guide Jack was wonderful! We had such a great time, even the other people in our boat decided to join us for the second trip. Our total experience was fantastic, start to finish. I would highly recommend!!”

“The whitewater rafting trip on the upper pigeon river was very enjoyable. The weather was rainy but we were wet anyway! Or rafting guide was super great! She explained the different levels of the rapids and was prepared for any whitewater that we encountered. We can‚Äôt wait to experience the river again. The other staff at the outpost were all personable and helped us with any questions that we had. They were able to direct us to a lovely cafe in Hartford for a bite to eat and a well deserved beverage. We would highly recommend this rafting adventure and company to any of our family, friends and anyone who would ask.”

“Upper Pigeon half day was exciting & fun for everybody: our 12 yr old athletic grandson, our 11 yr old more timid granddaughter, their parents, & two 67 yr old grandparents. We were tossed, soaked, & bounced enough to squeal & laugh but not be scared. We are all strong swimmers though. A non swimmer would not enjoy it as much as we did. Our guides were knowledgeable & friendly, & acted as if it was their first trip down the river! Thank you so much, NOC.”
