“My wife and I took the fully guided trip on the Nantahala. Husbands do yourself a favor, let somebody else drive! Our was great, very engaging and fun. The NOC is ran so well. They cover all the details and ending your trip back at the center where you can relax and get some good food really makes it a great experience. See you next year!”

“We had a great time rafting with our family. There were 8 of us and NOC was very accommodating in allowing us to float together. Our guide, Spencer, was the absolute best. He was very knowledgeable about the river and made our trip super fun! We will definitely make this a yearly tradition.”

“This was the first time I have had a guide in the rafting boat and boy did it make things a lot easier and less stressful. Our guide was informative about the area, the local history, agricultural facts, and river details. It was a great day on the river.”

“I took three 14 year olds and a 12 year old on this trip. It was a Class 2 with a 3 at the end guided tour. The guide, Ethan, was fantastic! He works there over the summers but had so much knowledge about the local environment- from types of trees to diseases threatening them. He was funny and engaged the entire crew! We had to stop once to save a stranded rafter, which was great to be a part of. We loved it and will do it again next time we are in that area- definitely worth a 2 hour drive!”

“We have been rafting the Nantahala for over 40 years! This year my son turned 15 and he tackled it alone with a guide in a ducky. I stayed in a guided raft with my daughter and friends. The NOC always provides you with top notch guides and makes the trip amazing! Even when the power plant had trouble with the water and it was running low on our day. Thank you for so many amazing years NOC!”

“Great trip, sunny and not too hot, water was flowing higher than normal and made for more fun. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun to be around. Will do this again in the future.”

“We had a fun, fun day full of laughter, and squeals of excitement. Our guide,Pete, took care of us and let the 10,12, and 14 year old kids help with paddling. He called us, " a lite boat!" We are not big folks and he needed all of us to row! We'll return, yes!”
