All I can say is WOW! We are already planning another trip for next weekend. You WILL NOT find any better. We searched for weeks to find just the right one for us. Thankful that our 9 year old could come along with us. We LOVE NOC Chattooga & Ashley is the best!

Great run down the Natahala in the Morning followed by cool Zips and Adventure Park in the Afternoon. Love being able to enjoy great beverages by the river and ending the day with a terrific burger and cold brew. Really well stocked outfitter store to shop. Already booked additional rivers and can’t wsit!

These guides were such professionals. Ben, our boat guide was fantastic. He was relaxed, fun & so knowledgeable about the river; we could not have dreamed of a better experience for our family. I am ready to go again & my daughters are hooked, as well. The river was breathtaking & the experience, exhilarating.

Our group of 6 women ages mid 20's to mid 60's split into 2 rafts. We chose the Chattooga, section III with lunch and had a great time. The lunch was delicious and there was enough for everyone and you could even go back for seconds. Our guide, Robert was great. He was friendly, very knowledgeable about the river and the history of the area. His instructions were precise and easy to follow. We enjoyed spending our day on the water with him. The Chattooga was high so we were able to put in further up river and had a longer raft trip down the river. We enjoyed the stop along the way where we were able to jump off a rock into the river. The class II rapids were fun, class III rapids were thrilling and the final rapid which was a class IV was spectacular! Only two in the group had any whitewater experience so the rest were apprehensive but game for the adventure. By the end of the trip, we were all trying to figure out how we could come up with enough ladies for the overnight rafting trip!

We enjoyed the trip. It is not terribly challenging, but that is due to the skills of the guides who make it possible to run through the rapids without a likelihood of falling out. Not even a tremendous amount of splashing, although you should be prepared to get wet. Nor were there calm places to get out and swim. We did a modified version of the 3 because the water was so high, so it might be different for you.
