We did this trip 2 years ago as a sister trip (plus a couple more ladies) and we are heading back again in a couple weeks. Mickey was our guide and we hope he is there again this year. We have rafted the Ocoee & Nantahala, rafted in Colorado and a couple other places and this trip was by far the best for several reasons. 1 - Our guide was wonderful. He was probably thinking as he took on us 5 (older) ladies that he drew the short stick. But in the end I'm sure he had had as much fun as we did. I wish I could post a couple of the pictures to show the fun we had. 2 - NOC was the only outfitter on this stretch. No jockeying for space on the river with other outfitters. It made for such a pleasant trip. 3 - The whole staff at NOC was so nice & knowledgable and answered all our questions respectfully. 4 - And did I say it was so much FUN?! If not, I say it again... Fun, Fun, FUN! We will see y'all in a couple weeks!

Our group ages ranged from 8 to 56 and Isbell was wonderful at getting to know us and make our first rafting experience amazing!

Vic is a very good guide. We told him we wanted a wild trip and we definitely got one! Outstanding trip on the water.

One of the best experiences of my life! The guides are knowledgeable and keep you safe but make sure it is super fun! We got Dan and he was hilarious and kept easy banter going the entire trip. Be prepared for anything. When we went down 7 Foot our entire group got thrown out and it was the highlight of the rafting experience for me. The lunch was good. They took us on a short hike up to a water fall and guided us up to actually walk underneath it. We made stops along the way to jump off of the bigger rocks also. Pretty awesome experience. We will probably go again before the end of the season. If you’re on the fence, just go for it!! Make sure you stretch before the trip starts because the next day is kind of brutal. Lol.

We had a spectacular day on Section III of the Chattooga with the wonderful raft guides from the Chattooga Outpost! It is nice to now that the more things change … the more they stay the same! 35 years later, I had a wonderful Birthday trip and felt the familiar vibe from days gone by. The call of the river with folks who really love what they do! Thanks for years of safety and fun on the rapids and it is good to know that great things remain the same! Shout out to our raft guides.. Lauren, Reed & Dylan the trip leader!

We had a group of 12 and had a wonderful experience on the river yesterday. We were divided into 3 rafts. Each raft had great guides. With the rain from the night before the river was very high and fast. Our guide, Sam, was great! He was very good in communicating what to expect next and to have us working together as a group of 4. He was extremely knowledgeable about the river and shared great insights. Awesome experience!!!

Dillion was our guide and has exceptional skill and knowledge of the river and just about everything else!! My wife’s first time and to say she was a bit apprehensive of doing class V rapids on her whitewater rafting trip is an understatement! Once with Dillon and the NOC team put her to rest. Safety is first and foremost with NOC and I have been on numerous class V trips and hands down this was the safest! Enjoyed meeting our crew of Monique, Charles, John and Matt! The best!!

Andrew was our guide, Tanner was our group fearless Red Dog Leader. I have rafted a number of places, Colorado, New Mexico, Nanthahala, Ocowee. None of them can come close to the spectacular natural beauty, and excitement that this trip provides!!! Andrew and the rest of the guides were EXCELLENT in coordination of getting the Gringos safely down the river. I'm a fairly active 63 year old man, and it is work, very enjoyable work. But you are an active participant, not an observer. Well worth every penny!!!
